The restaurant

A tu gusto is a polyvalent restaurant placed in the City of the Arts and Sciences (Valencia) with a self service buffet full of saldas, pasta at midday and creative cooking at night. A varied offer to suit all tastes.


Salvador Furió, cooking manager, has a brilliant curriculum at his back. He cames from Casa Alfonso, in the Dehesa de Campoamor (Alicante) and, furthermore, he has worked in the Hacienda Benezuza of Ferran Adrià, in Sevilla. With this broaded experience in creative cooking, he decided to start by his own way on (march, 2006) with the restaurant 'A tu gusto'.

At midday, A tu gusto offers two differents buffet menus, variated salads and pastas, carried out with fresh and natural products very carefully choosed and with a exquisite and impeccable presentation.


At night, Salvador delight us with his creative gastronomy, original courses where it’s meticulous taken the minimum detail. He counts on with several tasting menus with very affordable prices by which condense his cook style. The starters are maded up, above all in summer times, by jelly, gazpacho, and agua de valencia. Whitin the meats, we can choose a young pigeon with orange and chocolate shavings or the sirloin steak with goat cheese and quice jelly. The fishes are tempting: sardines in tempura of citrics, crawfishes and vermicelli, and surmullets with butter of anchovy, meat juice and lima pearls.


The desserts, really sofisticated, make us to doubt between the hazelnut soufflé with coconut foam and violet ice-cream or the white ivorie chocolate mousse with a fruit of passion creamy liquid.


The wine cellar, has caldos from all the D.O., but for the tasting menu he suggest us the Matarromera aging 2002 of Ribera del Duero or the Dominio de tares Cepas Viejas del Bierzo, both red wines.


The decoration, in green pistachio shades, increases the luminosity of the local, which counts with large windows where you can gaze the hustle and bustle of the city. Some buqués with fresh flowers decorates the tables and lend an air of distinction at the place.
